Samantha Ruth Prabhu has cemented her place as a fashionista to look out for with her impeccable and elegant sartorial choices. The star, who is taking a break from movies to focus on her health, is gearing up for the release of her film Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. And with the film's trailer out, Samantha's first promotional look also created waves on social media. She slipped into an all-white ensemble, serving elegant workwear wardrobe upgrade inspiration.

On Monday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to Instagram to share pictures of her promotional look for Kushi with the caption, "#KushiOnSeptember1st [white heart emoji]." Celebrity stylists Selvi Thangaraj and Pallavi Singh styled Samantha for the occasion. She wore an all-white attire from the shelves of designer Payal Khandwala's eponymous label - the look features a satin shirt and pants set styled with statement-making accessories and minimal makeup. Moreover, you can wear it from a Friday work meeting to a night out or drinks session with your girlfriends. While the satin blouse features pointed wide collars, front button closures, a V neckline, droop shoulders, full-length sleeves with exaggerated open cuffs, and a relaxed silhouette, the pants have a shimmering pearl-white hue, side pockets, a high-rise waist, straight-leg fitting with a flared hem, and a pleated design.

Samantha tucked the shirt inside her pants to give structure to the ensemble and define her svelte frame. She accessorised with a statement oxidised ring, an elegant necklace embellished with green and ruby stones, pointed white heels, retro-style pink-tinted sunglasses, and dainty earrings.

Lastly, Samantha chose monochrome nail art, mauve lip shade, subtle eye shadow, feathered brows, heavy mascara on the lashes, rouged cheekbones, a dewy base, and beaming highlighter for the glam picks. Side-parted and open wavy locks gave the finishing touch.

Khan will be seen essaying the role of a freedom fighter in the upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan. “I just finished shooting for the film. There are so many facets of our Indian history, especially the freedom struggle, which we don’t understand. It is not just the freedom fighters we may not know about, it was a generation of sacrifice, bravery and constant endeavour. It is not just one day. I feel 365 days are too less to celebrate and be thankful and grateful for what we have as a country today,” she ends

Actor Shah Rukh Khan on Monday unveiled the much-awaited romantic song Chaleya from his upcoming action thriller film Jawan. This is the second song from the film after Zinda Banda. Taking to Instagram, Shah Rukh posted the video.

Chaleya has also been released as Chalona and Hayyoda. The Hindi version of the romantic track has been sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao. It is choreographed by Farah Khan and written by Kumaar.

During an Ask Me Anything session on Twitter recently, Shah Rukh revealed his favourite song from the film. He wrote, “My favourite song is Chaleya from the film. Romantic and sweet and gentle….just like me. @anirudhofficial has excelled. #Jawan.”

Jawan clips posted online

Recently, Shah Rukh's production company Red Chillies Entertainment made a police complaint in Mumbai after unauthorised video clips from Jawan were posted on social media. Mumbai Police has registered a case at Santacruz Police station under IPC section 379 and IT Act as Jawan's clip was stolen and used on social media on Thursday. “Mumbai police are investigating further the matter further,” said Mumbai Police as quoted by news agency ANI.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan will release worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen with Shah Rukh in the film. Deepika Padukone also has a special appearance in the movie. Nayanthara will be seen playing a role of a cop. In Jawan, fans will also see Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in important roles.

Jawan is Shah Rukh's second release of 2023 after Pathaan, which broke several box office records and turned out to be the biggest hit of his career so far. Pathaan was released after Shah Rukh's four-year-long hiatus from films. He will also be seen in director Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film Dunki opposite Taapsee Pannu. The official release date of the film is still awaited.

The list of top theatrical releases on OTT is out. Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya is out this week and instead, Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 made a re-entry. Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan continues to stay on the list too.

Every thing has changed with the theatrical release on OTT this week. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was ruling at the top spot, has now fallen to the second spot.

The Hollywood film was much loved even when it released in theatres. Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 brought about a change in the fate of Marvel films, since this movie came as a breath of fresh air in times where Marvel movies failed to perform.

Thanks to Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 taking the top spot, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is the second most loved theatrical release on OTT. The Eid release has worked on OTT way better than it did in theatres and the proof of it is its continuous existence on the list.

Meanwhile, Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 re-entered the list and left a powerful statement. It replaced Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and became the third most loved movie of the week.

Shah Rukh Khan continues his reign as the most loved actor even now. After Pathaan success, he promises more action with the Atlee-directorial, Jawan.

Salman Khan, last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is second on the list. The third Khan, Aamir Khan, continues to remain on the ninth spot.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor give competition to the two Khans. Akshay is the third most loved actor despite his rocky career at the moment. He is currently seen in OMG 2, where Akshay reprises his role of Lord Krishna.

Hrithik, recently seen in Vikram Vedha, is now preparing to be Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter.’ He will be pairing up with Deepika Padukone for the first time in the film. Apart from that, Hrithik also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline.

Ranbir made all the right noises in 2023 with Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The actor is now in news for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. His varied looks have been making headlines since a while now.

Ranveer Singh’s popularity went up by one rank since Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani release. He was at the eighth spot last month and is now, the seventh most loved Hindi actor. Ranveer beat new entrant on the list, Varun, by one rank.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn, who was the seventh most loved last month, is now last on the top 10 list. He is 10th most loved actor. Ajay currently has Golmaal 5, Drishyam 3 and Singham Again in the pipeline. This is apart from his own directorial franchise, Bholaa’s upcoming sequel.

D 51: Rashmika Mandanna comes on board for Dhanush's next with Sekhar Kammula

It's official. Rashmika Mandanna is all set to play the leading lady in Dhanush's next, which is tentatively being referred to as D51. Rashmika made the announcement of the same with an adorable video. The film is directed by Sekhar Kammula and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The film is being produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. The details of the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.

The film's producers had recently unveiled a concept poster which features a stash of money placed in the middle of high-rise buildings and slums on either side, hinting at the film's plot. The shoot is likely to begin soon after Dhanush wraps work on director Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller. Sonali Narang of Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd will be presenting the movie.

Interestingly, D 51 will mark Dhanush's second project with a Telugu director. His maiden venture was Vaathi, which was released in Telugu as Sir. The film was directed by Venky Atluri. The film received mixed reviews at the box office and is currently streaming on Netflix.

Dhanush, in the meantime, is busy with the shoot of his action entertainer Captain Miller. The team had recently dropped a sneak peek from the film on the occasion of his birthday and it had set the internet on fire. The Captain Miller teaser went on to achieve the rare feat of getting 23 million views in 24 hours, one of the fastest videoes till date to achieve the feat. 

Rashmika , on the other hand, is busy with the shoot of Pushpa 2, in which she will be reprising her character Srivalli. The film, helmed by Sukumar, will have Allu Arjun back on screen as the popular red sandalwood smuggler Molleti Pushpa Raj and Fahadh Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat . The team recently dropped the first-look posters of both actors.

The actor wore a saree and matching blouse for the occasion and shared the pictures of her Desi Girl avatar on Instagram with the caption, "Dreaming of 25th August [clock emoji] #DreamGirl2." Celebrity stylist Meagan Concessio styled Ananya in the six yards and shared her photos on the gram with the caption, "She's (s)tealing the show." Ananya's drape is from the shelves of the clothing label Ekaya.
