Actor Dulquer Salmaan, who is also well-known in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries, is getting ready to make his online debut with the Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs. The actor takes on the part of Arjun, a police officer who travels to the town of Gulaabgunj and runs into a number of odd people and circumstances. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are the series' directors, and it also features Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Devaiah, Adarsh Gourav, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and other actors.Dulquer Salmaan discussed his experience working on Guns and Gulaabs and how Raj and DK gave him creative liberty in an exclusive conversation with OTTplay.

When asked if Raj and DK are actor's director and are they open to actor's suggestions, The Bangalore Days actor said: "They are fully open to suggestions. It helps that their writing is so detailed, the way they turn the script no one knows where it’s going. Every character has an arc, every character twist the show in some or the other way. We all got every detail of our character. In my case, I was informed that he possesses certain characteristics – he has a fondness for film music, he's highly romantic, he carries an intriguing love story, he is the father of a 16-year-old daughter, and he has been assigned to this location as a punishment transfer."

He further added how he got all the details about his character in Guns & Gulaabs. He said, "So much detailing that was given. So much clarity on how I should look, my styling, my clothes, my props, all that helps us in diving in the character. When we used to be on the sets and if anything that comes to our mind that we say they’re open to it. They’re also looking to find that magic that happens."

Guns & Gulaabs, a web series by Raj & DK, known for Farzi and The Family Man, is set in the 1990s and stars Dulquer, Rajkummar Rao, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah in significant parts. On August 18, the show will make its Netflix debut. Dulquer Salmaan will also make his web series debut with this. The actor is also awaiting his another much-awaited release King Of Kotha.

AP Dhillon: First of a Kind documentary screening was indeed a star-studded affair! A slew of celebrities from Bollywood arrived at a posh locality in Mumbai to add charm to the event including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Mrunal Thakur, Badshah, and Harrdy Sandhu to name a few.

The screening event was hosted by Punjabi music singing sensation AP Dhillon, who arrived at the event along with his rumoured girlfriend, actress Banita Sandhu.

Several photos and videos of the glitzy event are going viral on social media. In one viral video, Salman Khan can be spotted greeting and hugging Ranveer Singh. Both Salman and Ranveer have delivered precious blockbusters in Bollywood and are appreciated for their fine-tuned acting skills.

Salman Khan later hugged AP Dhillon and congratulated the latter for the web series. The web series will be aired on Amazon Prime Video from August 18.
