Miss Polishetty Mr. Polishetty is one film that has caught the imagination of one and all. The romantic comedy is all set for a massive release on September 7, 2023, worldwide. Anushka Shetty makes a comeback to films after a long gap and the happening Naveen Polishetty plays the main lead. Mahesh Babu P directed this film which has been produced by Mahesh Babu P.

Well, after keeping the audience waiting for the longest time, the makers finally unveiled the trailer today, and it looks bold, contemporary, and funny. Anushka Shetty plays the role of a master chef and does not believe in marriage. 

What happens when such a woman hires a young bright man played by Naveen Polishetty to become the father of her child is the basic crux of the story. Anushka plays a woman who has no feelings and is very particular about having kids without getting married. Her role suits today's girls as most of them have the same ideology in life.

Coming to the main lead, Naveen Polishetty is perfect in the role of a youth who gives in on the idea of becoming a father without marriage but the way he showcases the pain, fun, and frustration has been showcased superbly in the trailer. Even the likes of Prabhas loved the trailer and spoke highly about the film.

Naveen's one-liners, confrontation with Anushka Shetty, and the basic plot give the film a fresh vibe altogether. Murali Sharma, Tulasi, Jayasudha, Bhadram, Nassar, Abhinav Gomatam, and others play supporting roles in this film which has been produced by UV Creations. 

By the looks of it, the film will surely create a lot of debates when it releases. But the key topic of having kids without marriage is addressed in a fun and sensitive manner in the trailer making this film indeed the most-awaited in recent times. 

Chiranjeevi’s Mega 156, Mega 157: All you need to know about the mega star’s upcoming projects

Chiranjeevi, in his four and a half decade stint in cinema, has never let the failure of his films get the better of him. After a setback like Acharya, he drowned himself in work and immediately moved onto the shoots of Godfather, Waltair Veerayya and Bholaa Shankar. While the Meher Ramesh-directed Bholaa Shankar was a box office dud, he is quickly moving onto his next set of projects sans fuss.

Commemorating Chiranjeevi’s 68th birthday, two of his future projects were officially announced today. While the first, tentatively titled Mega 156, is an out-and-out comedy, produced by his daughter Sushmita Konidela under Gold Box Entertainments, his other project, Mega 157, is a socio-fantasy to be helmed by Bimbisara filmmaker Mallidi Vassishta under UV Creations.

While there are several speculations doing the rounds about Mega 156, it is more or less official that Kalyan Krishna, the man behind films like Bangarraju and Soggade Chinni Nayana, will be helming it. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film which is expect to star Sharwanand in a key role and Venkatesh in a cameo appearance.

Though it was reported that Mega 156 is the remake of Bro Daddy, sources suggest it’s an original script, a wacky entertainer on the lines of F2. The shoot is expected to commence as early as August 24. While the original target is to release the film for Sankranthi, an official announcement about the same is awaited.

Mega 157 will ha ve Bimbsara fame Mallidi Vassishta playing to his strengths - he has consistently maintained that he would want to carve his niche in the fantasy space. The announcement poster hints that nature is integral to its story - the motifs of trees, fire, water contribute to a viewer’s curiosity. Post Anji, Chiranjeevi hasn’t acted in fantasies and one can’t wait to see how the project shapes up.

Since they are related, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt have a special relationship. The divas recently shocked their followers by posting a series of photos on social media. So, during her public outing in Delhi, with no surprises, Kareena was quizzed about any possibilities of collaborating with Alia on the big screen.

On Monday, a few days after she posted the photos online, Kareena landed in Delhi for a promotional appearance. There, during a press interaction, she gave the public a hint about her film project with Alia.

Shut up and watch: Vijay Deverakonda defends Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth

Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with the promotions of romantic drama Kushi. Directed by Siva Nirvana, the film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. It will release on September 1. Recently, a journalist asked Vijay about Chiranjeevi in a negative way during an event for Kushi and the actor gave him a strong reply. 

Vijay Devarakonda said that superstars Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi are beyond hits and flops. "Rajinikanth sir gave 5-6 back to back flops. But he came back again with a blockbuster like Jailer. Then we should shut up and watch,' said Vijay.

Talking about Chiranjeevi, he said, “Chiranjeevi may have 6-7 flops back to back. But if the right director gets his energy, he will come back with a sensation like he did this Sankranti. Chiru sir changed the industry. When he came, the action, dance and performance there changed completely. He inspired many people to enter the industry.”

Vijay Deverakonda said that actors should not be judged on the basis of hits and flops. He said that they should be respected for inspiring many people to enter the industry so that everyone can enjoy their films. He said that he feels it is disrespectful to make comments on senior actors.

AP Dhillon, recently, released his docuseries titled AP Dhillon: First of a Kind which unveils his journey of becoming a self-made superstar and a global music icon. Plot

Karam impersonates Pooja in order to sustain his family financially, which results in anarchy and a comedy of mishaps.

After a long wait and a slight delay, Dream Girl 2 is set to hit the big screen on August 25, 2023.

The advance booking for Dream Girl 2 kicked off over the weekend, and as per reports in Sacnilk, the film raked in about Rs. 27 lakhs on Monday and sold about 8477 tickets.

Masterpeace teaser: Sharafudheen, Nithya Menen's quirky Malayalam series promises a fun ride

Disney+ Hotstar has released the teaser of the web series, Masterpeace, starring Sharafudheen, Nithya Menen, Srikant Murali, Ashokan, Renji Panicker, and Shanthi Krishna. Going by the promo video, the series is touted to be a comedy entertainer which revolves around the disputes and altercations among a young married couple that gets worsened by their parents' intervention.  

The teaser offers a glimpse into the silly fights between the couple played by Sharafudheen and Nithya Menen. The replica of Da Vinci's painting Mona Lisa is seen in the teaser and it looks like the painting plays a crucial part in the story. The hilarious chemistry between Sharafudheen and Nithya Menen is one of the attractions of the teaser.

The teaser of Masterpeace reminds us of Hollywood director Wes Anderson's movies. The colour palette, deadpan humour, and quirky costumes in the promo resemble his style of making. Althaf Salim and 2018 director Jude Anthany Joseph are also part of its cast. Anand Manmadhan, who was recently seen in Kunchacko Boban's Padmini, too, plays a pivotal role in Masterpeace.

It is the second Malayalam series announced by Disney+ Hotstar after the recently acclaimed Kerala Crime Files starring Lal, Aju Varghese, and Navas Vallikkunnu. Directed by Oru Thekkan Thallu Case director Sreejith N, the series will be also streaming in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Bangla, and Marathi.

The series which comes with the tagline, 'A Great Indian Family Drama meets Trauma!' is produced by Mathew George. Its technical team consists of Riyas K Bhabhar as the editor and Aslam K Purayil as the cinematographer. BijiBal handles the music department of Masterpeace.

Meanwhile, Nithin Renji Panicker's debut web series Madhuvidhu is also slated for a release on Disney+ Hotstar. The series starring Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Kani Kusruti, and Shweta Menon is billed as a dark comedy. Its shooting was wrapped up in August and there were rumours about Suraj reprising his popular comedy character, Dashamoolam Damu once again for Madhuvidhu. Disney+ Hotstar has also announced Praveen Chandran's comedy series and Najeem Koya's 1000+ babies which are likely to be out soon.
