The makers have dropped the official teaser of the movie which sees Kangana gearing up as a true patriot to fight back for the country. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the highly anticipated flick is slated to release this month.

The official teaser begins by showcasing two huge doors opening in an Airspace, while Kangana as an Air Force Pilot prepares for a mission sporting her uniform with pride. Moving on, the actor's gripping dialogue can heard from the background as she says that it's not compulsory to solve a national issue just with a talk and now it's time to fight back for our country that tolerated multiple onsets from outside.

The upcoming war drama movie revolves around the exceptional real-life tale of the Indian Air Force pilot, Tejas Gill and aims to showcase how our Air Force pilots work tirelessly to defend our nation, confronting numerous challenges along the way. Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the forthcoming flick is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP movies. Tejas, which also features Ashish Vidyarthi, Varun Mitra and Anshul Chauhan in key roles, is slated to have a theatrical release on October 27, 2023.

Actor and composer Vijay Antony's 16-year-old daughter Meera has committed suicide. Unconfirmed reports state that the teenager was battling depression, which led her to take the extreme step.

Meera dies of suicide
Meera is said to have died of suicide after hanging herself at her residence in the wee hours of this morning. The family rushed her to the hospital soon after they found her in the state. Doctors, who examined her, stated that she was brought dead. Lara was a class 12th student and was battling stress, which is said to be the reason for the extreme step. An official statement on the incident is awaited. The police investigation is currently underway.

It is to be noted that Vijay Antony has spoken out time and again about suicides. "Most of the people commit suicide due to financial issues, or when they feel cheated by a loved one. As for students, it's the pressure faced at school and education. We don't give them enough time to recuperate and relax once they get back from school. Self love is important." Vijay Antony had also stressed upon providing free space to think rather than being put under constant pressure to perform in studies. It's an irony that his own daughter committed suicide.

A Reddit post caused quite the chaos among Samantha Ruth Prabhu fans on Monday. It suggested that Samantha had ‘unarchived’ a romantic birthday post for ex-husband Naga Chaitanya, recently. It came at a time when rumours of Chaitanya's wedding with Sobhita Dhulipala have been circulating online. However, we have learnt that Samantha did not bring back any old post.

The post in question dates back to December 2017. The photo features a candid moment from Samantha and Chaitanya's white wedding. It read, “Happy birthday my everything I don’t wish, I pray every single day that God gives you everything your heart desires. I love you forever. #happybirthdaychay.” It shows Samantha giving Naga Chaitanya a kiss on his cheek.

Before announcing their split last year, Samantha had removed almost all her pictures with Chaitanya. But looks like she missed archiving this image. Some fans spotted it over the weekend and thought that she had 'brought it back'.

A special screening for Vijay Varma's upcoming film Jaane Jaan was held in Mumbai on Monday. Supporting him was his girlfriend and actor Tamannaah Bhatia. She joined him for the screening and the two went on to pose together for the cameras. Jaane Jaan will release on Netflix on September 21. 

Vijay wore a printed mustard suit paired with a black shirt. Tamannaah joined him in a denim dress. She was also seen chatting with Varun Dhawan who was one of the many celebrities at the film screening.

A fan commented on a paparazzo video of them on Instagram, “They look so good together @tamannaahspeaks @itsvijayvarma.” Another reacted, “Such a cute couple.” One more said, “Nice one”. “Cutest couple, God bless them,” read a comment.

Tamannaah is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming investigative drama series Aakhri Sach. Helmed by Robbie Grewal, and written by Saurav Dey, Aakhri Sach also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij and Sanjeev Chopra. The series will delve into the lives of various characters as Tamannaah, who plays the lead investigative officer, embarks on a mission to unravel the mystery of some deaths. It will release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 25.

Talking about her character, Tamannaah said as per ANI, “A woman being strong doesn't make her androgynous. Strength does not take away femininity, it is another asset of femininity. Women have always been very instinctive, that’s an innate nature of women, we always have an intuition for everything. When we can marry our skills with our intuition, there’s nothing more powerful than that and that is what Anya (my character from Aakhri Sach) essentially embodies.”

Shah Rukh Khan's fondness for Alia Bhatt is well-known. In a new interview with Showsha, Jawan dialogue writer Sumit Arora has now revealed that it was Shah Rukh who insisted to have that Alia Bhatt dialogue in the film.

“I was a little apprehensive about Alia Bhatt. And SRK sir was like, ‘No, it’s nice. Let's keep it. It'll be nice.' So it was on his insistence that we did the Alia Bhatt line. And I'm glad that everybody liked that. I've seen people chuckling to that line in theatres. I've been to Gaiety Galaxy (Mumbai), I've been to PVR, different kinds of theatres. Everbody actually reacts to the same things in different ways at every theatre,” Sumit said in the interview.

Sumit also added that he wanted to inclue the dialogue “Jab main villain banta hu na toh mere saamne koi hero nahi tikta” in the same sequence as a tribute to Shah Rukh Khan's villanious turns over the years. “Of course, that line fits SRK. That line I really wanted to use in the sequence. That felt like a correct moment to say that line because of Shah Rukh sir's history of playing those negative-shade lead characters in Darr, in Baazigar. It's a hat tip to those characters. And people have actually loved him a lot in those characters, even in Don. So I felt that was a line that I couldn't have missed writing,” Sumit added in the interview.

Shah Rukh co-produced Alia's debut film, Karan Johar's 2012 campus caper Student of the Year, under his production house Red Chillies Entertainment. He also co-produced and shared screen space with her in Gauri Shinde's 2016 coming-of-age film Dear Zindagi. Shah Rukh Khan’s fans can’t keep calm! On Saturday evening, filmmaker Atlee — who recently directed Jawan – seemingly confirmed that the sequel of the action film is in the making. This development comes at a time when the movie is inching closer to earning over Rs 750 crores at the box office globally.

Speaking to news portal Pinkvilla on Saturday, Atlee expressed about a character he would love to make a spin-off. “Vikram Rathore for sure. Vikram Rathore is my hero. Maybe one day, I will make a spin-off to that. Let’s see.” The filmmaker added, “I am a daddy’s boy and hence, I love to write strong father characters. You can see it in all my films,” said Atlee to Pinkvilla.

Then Atlee was further asked whether Jawan 2 is in the making. To this, Atlee told the news portal that he would love to make a spin-off of his recent film. Atlee conveyed, “Vikram Rathore for sure.
