The Koffee is brewing! Karan Johar has announced the new season of Koffee With Karan. He will come back on OTT with the eight season of his immensely popular talk show, Koffee With Karan. In fact, Karan has left some hints as to who all can come on his show. He promises to bring the newly married couple, which directly goes on to talk about the ‘Pearl White Indian Wedding’ of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. A promo was revealed to unveil these details.

The promo with a ‘Konscience’

In the promo release, Karan is seen talking to his ‘Konscience’ self. He criticizes his own self for season 7, the nepotism and supposedly ‘lame’ jokes back then. The filmmaker-host then promises to bring some new elements to the season. An official statement from the makers reveal that the conversations this time will be beyond marriages, airport looks, social media and toodles to toodles. Through the promo, Karan has also left many hints about the guests. In the press statement, the filmmaker was quoted saying, “After the overwhelming response and a lot of conjectures from season 7, this season let’s make my friends and your favourite celebrities spill their secrets along with the no filter conversations on the infamous Koffee couch.”

The biggest hint that Karan Johar left was that the newly wed couple will be on his show. This is clearly indicating that Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who are enjoying their post-wedding phase currently, will be on the talk show. With that, a politician will join Karan’s talk show this season. In fact, for all we know, they might be the first guests of the season.

Nepo starkids hinting to?

The filmmaker also promised to bring star grandkids, thus hinting that Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agasthya Nanda will be a part of the show. He will be seen in Archies with Suhana Khan soon. Karan might just invite him with his sister Navya Naveli Nanda, who is also an internet sensation. She currently made headlines for appearing on the Paris Fashion Week. For the uninitiated, Karan is close to their mother Shweta Bachchan and has invited her on the show with her brother Abhishek Bachchan too.

Koffee With Karan season 8 will start streaming from October 26. One episode will be revealed every week, exclusively on Disney+Hotstar.

Director Nitesh Tiwari is preparing to bring one of the biggest films from India, epic mythological drama Ramayana, by assembling the top industry professionals. This epic mythical movie will be one of the greatest work of Indian film ever made.

After promoting Animal, Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly start filming the first installment in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana franchise, as we all know he will be seen as the movie's lead. Sai Pallavi, the film's leading lady, is also rumored to start filming early in the next year with Ranbir. According to sources, Yash will begin working on the project in July.

Nitesh Tiwari and his team have been actively working on establishing the universe of the Ramayana, and the blueprint is now fully set. The Oscar-winning company, DNEG, created the VFX plates, and they portray a universe that will astound viewers. However, the Ramayana's intense inter-character emotions and straightforward plot will outweigh its visual appeal.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will begin filming for the project in the month of February, the source revealed. Adding, "The first part of the trilogy will focus more on Lord Ram and Sita, leading towards the conflict of Sita Haran. The duo will be shooting for the film from February till August 2024, before calling it a wrap for Ramayana: Part One."

About Yash's part in the film

Yash, on the other hand, has an extended cameo in Ramayana: Part One, but the second installment, which is set in Sri Lanka, will be dominated by his character. The KGF actor has set aside 15 days to film his part.

If reports are to be believed, the film will feature some never-before-seen high-octane scenes and will be produced on a grand scale. The biggest team of competent specialists from around the world are working under Nitesh Tiwari's supervision on the magnum opus.

In the movie, Sai Pallavi will portray Sita, Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram and Yash will be seen as Ravana. The film is being backed by Madhu Mantena.

The couple had a fun-filled pre-wedding event that was all about Chopra vs. Chadhas. There were several games played, including lemon and spoon, three-legged races, musical chairs, rifle shooting, and the ultimate, a cricket match.

For the games, Parineeti was dressed in an orange tee and jeans, while Raghav opted for a blue T-shirt and jeans.
