Filmmaker Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan 8, was better than its previous season. This edition was filled with a few reunions and some debuts of actors on the Koffee couch. The finale episode of KWK 8 streamed last week on Disney+ Hotstar. A week later, Karan penned a note mentioning how Koffee With Karan 8 conquered the streaming charts for 13 weeks in a row. He also assured everyone that he would be back with a new season of KWK.

Karan Johar took to his official Instagram account and shared a video that highlights the most viewed episodes of Koffee With Karan 8. The filmmaker stated that as KWK 8 has come to an end, he is compelled to say, "It was great." KJo added that with people's love and unabashed 'tough love', the show conquered the charts for several weeks in a row.

He later mentioned that all celebrities came, conquered, and brewed interesting conversations on Koffee With Karan 8. And those conversations left an impact on everyone's heart. "Rest assured, we’ll be back…with our koffee stronger than ever (sic)," Karan captioned his IG post.

The opening episode of Koffee With Karan 8 was graced by Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It streamed on October 26, 2023. On the other hand, veteran actresses Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman were the last celebrity guests on Karan's chat show. Other celebrities who made an appearance on KWK 8 were Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Saif Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and others.

As far as the finale episode is concerned, content creators Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, Tanmay Bhat, and Sumukhi Suresh appeared on the show. Social media sensation Orry also shot for a special interview segment on Koffee With Karan 8. He made surprising revelations on Karan's chat show. And with that, KWK 8 came to an end on Disney+ Hotstar.

Kangana ranaut announces release date of emergency after attending ram mandir event in ayodhya; check details

Actor Kangana Ranaut has announced the release date of her upcoming film Emergency, a day after attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Kangana also shared a new poster of Emergency. The movie has also been directed and written by Kangana.

Kangana's statement

As per news agency PTI, Kangana said in a statement, "Emergency is my most ambitious project and second directorial post-Manikarnika, we have the best of Indian and international talent come together for this big budget, grand period drama." The film was previously set to release in theatres on November 24, 2023 but was postponed due to changes in her schedule.

About Emergency

Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, Emergency is touted as a mega-budget depiction of the most controversial spectacle in the history of Indian Democracy. "Standing at the core of this is one of the most sensational leaders of all time the first woman prime minister of India, Mrs Indira Gandhi," the official logline read.

The film also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik. Ritesh Shah has penned the screenplay and dialogues of the movie. The film revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and features Kangana in the titular role of the late politician. Emergency marks Kangana's first solo directorial film.

Actor Ananya Panday turned showstopper for designer Rahul Mishra at the ongoing Paris Haute Couture Week 2024. She turned heads and became the youngest Bollywood actor to walk the ramp. While she grabbed attention for her walk, it was her attire that left people talking on the internet.

Ananya stunned in a butterfly-inspired black mini dress. As a part of her statement outfit, she carried a giant sieve decorated with butterfly motifs. The sieve was seemingly attached to the dress underneath. She finished off her look with a sleek hair bun and black high heels.

She took to her Instagram Stories and posted a video from the show. In the caption, Ananya wrote, "Walking for @rahulmishra_7 at Paris Couture week." Rahul's collection, titled Superheroes, was inspired by insects such as butterflies, beetles, snakes and more.

This was the first time for Ananya to walk the ramp in Paris. Talking about the collection, designer Rahul Mishra said, “Beyond my own comfort zone, I look back once more at those who’ve been here before me. I seek to not just just appreciate the beauty or the vividness of the insect kingdom but also challenge our whole conditioning/education towards how we treat insects and feel the emotions otherwise coming from a primal notion of fear.”

Ranbir Kapoor, at the Ram Mandir event, opened up about his experience and briefly mentioned how he would have preferred bringing his daughter Raha to Ayodhya for Monday's grand event. Actor-wife Alia Bhatt and Ranbir were the only ones from the family to attend Ram Lalla's consecration ceremony. Raha is only one and considering her age, it seems the parents decided not to bring her.

Her special saree had a Ramayan-inspired border, which had embroidered images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and the Ram Setu. She also carried a matching shawl and carried a purse made from the same material as the saree. She had her hair neatly braided into a hair bun. The couple were joined by other celebrities, including Rohit Shetty, at the event.

The event saw the participation of about 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 VIP guests. This included others such as Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, Kangana Ranaut, Madhur Bhandarkar, Subhash Ghai, Vivek Oberoi, Sonu Nigam, Anupam Kher and Jackie Shroff among others for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha on Monday.

Celebrities like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli gave it a miss for reasons unknown. The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri too wasn't seen at the event in Ayodhya as he was out of India. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who were, too, invited, couldn't mark their presence due to their overseas schedule for the upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. However, they celebrated the occasion on the sets.

Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir were snapped returning to Mumbai in the late hours on Monday. In December, the couple finally revealed the face of their daughter after hiding her from public for over a year.

For the event, Alia opted for a teal-coloured silk saree, which was adorned with motifs depicting the story of Ramayana. The border featured the images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman and the Ram Setu. Ranbir was seen in dhoti-kurta. Katrina looked stunning in a golden saree while Vicky was dressed in kurta pyjama.

About the temple, event

The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ram Temple in Ayodhya was held on Monday. The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony after the hour-long rituals in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who led the ceremony. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style.

Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.

A video from the ceremony shows Rajinikanth seated in the front row. He was in a white kurta-pyjama and a shawl. Another video shows Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan during a candid conversation with businessman Anil Ambani. The father-son duo was in kurta-pyjama and carried shawls to beat the cold.

Before leaving for Ayodhya, Chiranjeevi had told ANI at Hyderabad airport, “That is really great. Overwhelming. We feel it's a rare opportunity. I feel Lord Hanuman who is my deity, has personally invited me...We are so fortunate to witness this Pran Pratishta...” Ram Charan had said on Monday morning at the airport, “It's a long wait, we are all very honoured to be there.”

Rishab Shetty of Kantara fame, along with wife Pragathi Shetty, visited a Hanuman Temple in Ayodhya on Sunday. Sharing a picture from the location, he wrote on Instagram in Telugu, “Before the celebration of Lord Rama's birth, Darshan of Hanuman.”

As per the schedule, the historic ritual of Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla will take place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and a host of distinguished guests post noon. Vedic rituals for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya began on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.

Saif ali khan hospitalised in mumbai, to undergo knee surgery | here’s everything we know

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has been reportedly admitted to the hospital. The actor was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Monday, January 22, according to a report by India.com. Saif reportedly suffered a knee injury, for which he will probably need surgery shortly. 

However, it should be mentioned that Saif's team has not yet released a statement providing clarification on the reports.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, the actor-wife of Saif Ali Khan, has reportedly been spotted by her husband's side at the hospital where he is being treated. However, it is not yet known how the actor fractured his knee and shoulder. 

Saif and Kareena recently took a trip to Switzerland to celebrate New Year's with their sons, Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan. The Jaane Jaan actress shared a picture of herself with Saif on Instagram, writing, "In my PJ with my man in a Dj.
