In one of the pictures, Mira and Shahid smiled wide at the camera. Another picture showed her capturing the sun as it sets and the moon as it rises, apart from the golden glow at a beach. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my sun & moon. Beautiful Piscean Sun and the full Virgo Moon. The universe shines on you.” Numerous fans left comments under the post, wishing Shahid on the special day.

Rakul Preet Singh, who recently got married to Jackky Bhagnani, wished Shahid. She shared an unseen picture from her wedding. In the picture, she was seen hugging Shahid as Mira looked on. Actor Priyanka Chopra, who is all excited to be part of the Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger as an executive producer, shared the trailer of the film. The news comes as Netflix inks a deal to launch the film globally on its platform soon.

As soon as the trailer was shared, fans and industry members chimed in in the comment section. Actor Huma Qureshi dropped heart emojis. On Sunday, Priyanka Chopra expressed her excitement about joining the To Kill a Tiger team as an executive producer alongside Dev Patel, Mindy Kaling, and others. Taking to her Instagram handle, she wrote in a post, “I'm so proud to join the incredible team of the Academy Award nominated documentary @tokillatigerdoc , and to announce that @netflix has acquired the global distribution rights to this powerful feature directed by @nishappics . When I first watched this film in 2022, I was immediately captivated by its poignant narrative, depicting a father's valiant struggle within the judicial system to secure justice for his daughter. This project serves as a testament to the boundless love and unyielding determination of a devoted father for his cherished daughter.”

About the documentary

To Kill a Tiger directed by Nisha Pahuja, has won two dozen prizes throughout the world, including Best Documentary at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Amplify Voices Award at TIFF, and Best Feature Documentary at the Canadian Screen prizes. The Directors Guild of Canada recognised Pahuja with the 2023 Excellence in Documentary Award. Despite not having any distribution in the US, it made the Oscar documentary shortlist and was nominated.

According to Deadline, Nish spent eight years working on the film, which centres on Ranjit, a poor farmer whose 13-year-old daughter Kiran became the victim of a brutal sexual assault. Pressured by his village to drop charges against the three young men accused of the attack, Ranjit and his wife Jiganti refused. The film takes place in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand. To Kill a Tiger, a release comments, “serves as a testament to the boundless love and unyielding determination of a devoted father for his cherished daughter.”

On the acting front, Priyanka will be seen in Heads of State, alongside John Cena and Idris Elba. She will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar's next directorial Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.

Pankaj Udhas death: Popular ghazal and playback singer breathed his last at 72. The Udhas family confirmed his death on Monday was due to a prolonged illness.

The Udhas family issued a statement that read, “With a heavy heart, we are saddened to inform you of the sad demise of Padmashri Pankaj Udhas on 26th February 2024 due to a prolonged illness.” Pankaj is survived by wife Farida Udhas, daughters Nayaab and Reva Udhas, and brothers Nirmal and Manhar Udhas, who are also singers.

Pankaj is best known for lending his voice to memorable tracks like Chitthi Aayi Hai from Mahesh Bhatt's 1986 crime thriller Naam, Chandi Jaisa Rang Hai from Pravin Bhatt's 1998 film Ek Hi Maqsad, Aaj Phir Tumpe from Feroz Khan's 1988 action thriller Dayavan, Jeeye To Jeeye Kaise from Lawrence D'Souza's 1991 romantic film Saajan, and Chhupana Bhi Nahi Aata from Abbas-Mustan's 1993 revenge thriller Baazigar among others.

His ghazal career includes reputed albums like Aahat (1980).

Shah Rukh Khan is back on Twitter after weeks and replied to some sweet videos and posts from his fan accounts. One such fan account had posted a video of Allu Arjun's son Allu Ayaan singing the song Lutt Putt Gaya from Shah Rukh's last release, Dunki.

The video show showed Allu Ayaan in a car, wearing a sports jersey and singing Lutt Putt Gaya's chorus with a big smile on his face. Shah Rukh replied to the post writing, “Thank u lil one… you are flower and fire both rolled into one!!! Now getting my kids to practice singing @alluarjun’s Srivalli… ha ha.” Allu replied to his tweet and wrote, “Shah Rukh ji … soo sweet of you . Humbled by your sweet msg. Lots of love.”

Sharing the posters, Kareena wrote, “Ready for check-in? Time to fly with the Crew! Crew in cinemas on March29 @tabutiful @kritisanon @diljitdosanjh and a special appearance by @kapilsharma.” The film stars the four actors as flight crew. Their uniforms are blood red with a blue hat.

About Crew

Helmed by Rajesh Krishnan of Lootcase fame, the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. The film will be hitting the theatres on March 29, 2024. Earlier it was slated to release on March 22 but the makers have decided to push the film's release.

The movie marks the second collaboration between Ektaa R Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor post the 2018 female buddy comedy Veere Di Wedding.

The first teaser of the film featured Kareena, Kriti and Tabu walking with their backs to the camera. The trio is seen wearing red cabin crew uniforms.

Crew stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. It is a story of three women and is touted as a laugh-riot, set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. However, their destinies lead to some unwarranted situations and they get caught in a web of lies.
