As for Shahid Kapoor’s Ashwatthama - The Saga Continues, it is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh and is being directed by Sachin B Ravi. The leading lady opposite Shahid Kapoor is yet to be revealed.

And as far as Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star is concerned, it is being made under the production of Sri Venkateshwara Creations with Dil Raju and Shirish as its producers. While the film has been written by Parashuram, it is being directed by Parashuram. The leading lady in the film who will be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda is Mrunal Thakur. Dhootha 2 - amazon prime to announce the second season of the naga chaitanya starrer on this date | details inside

Dhootha marked the OTT debut of Naga Chaitanya as the young actor played a media baron in the fantasy thriller which was a solid hit on Amazon Prime. High on the success of the show, the makers are all set for season 2 and plans are being made for the same.

The news now is that Dhootha 2 will be announced tomorrow at a grand event. Amazon Prime is announcing its slate of OTT projects for the year 2024 and Dhootha 2 will feature in the list of projects for this year. Dhootha was appreciated by one and all as the show was trending on Amazon Prime for multiple weeks.  

Dhootha ended on a very interesting note and the audience will be curious to know what the makers have in store for them with the second part. Vikram Kumar directed Dhootha on a huge budget and the show was produced by Sharath Marrar on his banner.

Naga Chaitanya was praised for his mature performance in the show which also had Prachi Desai, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Pravathy Thiruvothu in key roles. Dhootha is about a media baron who gets embroiled in a series of murders which are revealed through newspaper cuttings. All this has a proper backstory and is showcased in a gripping manner by Vikram Kumar.

Dhootha 2 will also feature the core cast but new actors will join the team as per the news. The word is that Dhootha 2 will have some popular Hindi actors who will be seen in important roles in this series. The success of the first season has given new ideas to director Vikram Kumar who is now ready for the script of the sequel as per the news. 

Amazon Prime is also quite happy with the way Dhootha fared on OTT and they are going all out for the second season. Sharath Marrar is going to spend big bucks on the second season as per the news. After D’YAVOL X, Aryan Khan’s luxury apparel business, was launched in 2023, fans were stunned by the ‘ridiculously high’ prices. Recently, Aryan launched a fresh collection featuring father Shah Rukh Khan and sister Suhana Khan as models, and some social media users are still discussing the 'very expensive' jackets and other D’YAVOL X clothing. Suhana made her acting debut with The Archies in 2023.

Reacting to the 'price list', an Instagram user wrote, "Very expensive! I cannot afford it..." Another wrote, "Just the brand name if it didn't have Shah Rukh attached, all of these clothes would sell for under ₹1000." Another also said, "Why are these clothes so expensive? (Crying emoji)." One also wrote, "Sir, I have to take a bank loan to buy your clothes... Can you please give some discount?"

However, some fans defended the pricing. One wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan has entertained us for years. We will pay extra money to buy these clothes." A fan also praised Suhana and Shah Rukh's photo, writing, "The daughter has taken after her father and how." Another said, "Elegance personified."

Last year in May, Shah Rukh Khan, for the first time, reacted to the pricing of his son Aryan Khan's clothing brand, D'YAVOL X. After the launch of the brand, people exclaimed the prices for the brand were 'ridiculously expensive'. A fan wrote to Shah Rukh, “Ye dyavol x ke jacket thoda sa 1000- 2000 wale bhi bana do… Wo wale khareedne me to ghar chala jayega (Can you reduce the price to ₹1000 to 2000. I have to sell off my house in order to afford it).”

Responding to it, Shah Rukh promised to do something about it." He wrote back, “Yeh D’Yavol X wale log mujhe bhi sasti nahi bech rahe….kuch karta hoon! (They are not even selling me with a discount. Let me do something).”

Janhvi Kapoor's maroon lehenga set for Lakme Fashion Week Day 5 features a cropped blouse. It comes with a cowl neckline, a sleeveless design, an asymmetric curved hem, sequin embellishments on the borders, and a fitted silhouette. She wore the blouse with a matching lehenga skirt featuring a mermaid silhouette, a floor-length hem, a figure-hugging fit over the thighs, velvet flowers, sequin and beaded embellishments, and a high-rise waistline.

 Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala, has welcomed a newborn son. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, he shared a photo with the infant. The picture also had a photo frame of Sidhu in the background. Balkaur, dressed in a blue shirt and denims, held the baby in his arms. A cake was also kept on a table near him.

Balkaur captioned the post in Punjabi, "With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our lap. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and I'm thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love (folded hands emoji)." Balkaur welcomed the baby with his wife, Charan Kaur.

Last week, Balkaur talked about the rumours going around his family and requested everyone not to believe them. Taking to his official Facebook account, he wrote a post in Punjabi, which read, "We are thankful to Sidhu's fans who are concerned about our family. But we plead there are so many rumours going around about the family, they are not to be believed. Whatever news, the family will share with you all."

Family sources confirmed to Tribune in February that Sidhu's mother, Charan Kaur, underwent IVF (In vitro fertilisation) treatment and was successful in conceiving a baby, due in March. The report said Charan's pregnancy was confirmed by Sidhu Moosewala’s uncle Chamkaur Singh.

The incident took place a day after his security cover was withdrawn as a part of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann government's exercise to crack down on VIP culture in the state. Sidhu had fought an election from Mansa in the last Assembly election on a Congress ticket, but was defeated by AAP's Vijay Singla.
