The Indian Premier League, or IPL 2024, has kicked off with an energetic performance from several industry giants. The opening event is being held in Chennai’s cricket stadium with a star-studded performance from several artists, including legendary singer and composer AR Rahman and actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan duo impressed large crowds with their lively performance and aerial entry as they danced their hearts out on the stage.

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are currently swamped with the promotional events of their upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Recently, the power duo attended the opening ceremony of the IPL in Chennai. The cricket arena dazzled with Tiger and Akshay’s high energy as they danced during the ceremony. The duo also performed on stage on several songs, including Akshay Kumar’s Desi Boys, Bhul Bhulaiyya's title track, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM) song Wallah Habibi, and Mast Malang Jhoom.

After their performance, the large crowd went crazy when Akshay and Tiger rode the bike along the boundaries, with Akshay in the driver seat while Tiger waved the Indian flag from the pillion seat. During the key moment, the background music “Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo” also lit the mood with enthusiasm.

Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar is getting applauded for his muscular physique and fitness, even in his fifties. The star won the hearts of fans as he swayed in the air and made an aerial entry with the tricolor in his hand to showcase love and unity. Amid the cheering crowd, Akshay entered the stage and set the stage on fire along with his action partner, Tiger Shroff. Their electrifying performance and power-packed energy are grabbing fans and netizens' attention as they hailed the stars during their performance and opening ceremony act.

A photo of Rashmika Mandanna on the sets of her upcoming film Pushpa: The Rule has emerged on social media. Several fan accounts posted the picture as well as a video of the actor allegedly from the shooting of Pushpa 2.

In the video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Rashmika wore a red and golden saree as she walked surrounded by her team. The actor opted for traditional jewellery and flowers on her head. She also smiled and nodded at the people waiting to meet the actor. Rashmika also sported sindoor (vermillion) on her forehead. Police officials, as well as her security guards, were seen walking with her.

In February, Rashmika had shared a picture of director Sukumar from the sets. Rashmika took to her Instagram Stories and treated fans with a glimpse of the film's shooting. In the image, Sukumar was seen busing with the film-making process on the set. Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Candidly posing @aryasukku #PushpaTheRule."

Bandwaale

Just one read at the film’s synopsis and it makes you wait for it with bated breath! For the unversed, the film ‘Bandwaale’ mirrors the life and lifestyle of a young God gifted poetess named Mariam. Just as when she is living her life, one day, she reaches a ‘dizzy town’ where marriage is the ultimate destination for every girl! 

Unable to see herself bound by the traditional manners of marriage, Mariam tries to break the ‘stereotype’ and tries to find a solution all by herself to get herself out of the situation! As a step in that direction, she uploads her penned poetry on the internet and sets out in the quest of her freedom! And the persons who become her partners in crime include a new age DJ as well as a brass band singer!

No wonder then, the trio of Mariam and the two friends together form the title of the film ‘Bandwaale’. The series stars a stellar cast of the extremely talented Shalini Pandey, Zahaan Kapoor, Sanjana Dipu, Ashish Vidhyarthi, and Anupama Kumar. The icing in the cake, however, is the presence of the multi-talented Swanand Kirkire, who also happens to be the creator of the film alongwith Ankur Tewari. This is one film which boasts of a stellar cast consisting of the extremely talented trio of Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty, and Jaaved Jaaferi. As the title itself suggests, the show is about two partners who are ‘daring partners’. The show’s premise is totally in tune with its title, as it mirrors the lives of two best friends who decide to convert their friendship into business.

And as a step in that direction, the two best friends start off with an unexplored premise of venturing into an alcohol start-up. And the unthought and unprepared challenges that lay in front of them and how the duo overcome all of that in the male dominated industry is what forms the film’s premise.

As for the starcast, the film will see the coming together of the three extremely talented actors in the form of Tamannaah Bhatia, Diana Penty, and Jaaved Jaaferi. While the film has been ideated by Nishant Nayak and Mithun Gangopadhyaym, it has been directed by Archit Kumar under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd

Actor Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child, has posted a rare selfie as she visited a salon. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Deepika shared her picture and her husband-actor Ranveer Singh reacted to it.

Deepika and Ranveer, who will soon become parents, were recently seen at the grand pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The duo danced at the event and also shared fun moments.

Dhootha 2 - amazon prime to announce the second season of the naga chaitanya starrer on this date | details inside

Dhootha marked the OTT debut of Naga Chaitanya as the young actor played a media baron in the fantasy thriller which was a solid hit on Amazon Prime. High on the success of the show, the makers are all set for season 2 and plans are being made for the same.

The news now is that Dhootha 2 will be announced tomorrow at a grand event. Amazon Prime is announcing its slate of OTT projects for the year 2024 and Dhootha 2 will feature in the list of projects for this year. Dhootha was appreciated by one and all as the show was trending on Amazon Prime for multiple weeks.  

Dhootha ended on a very interesting note and the audience will be curious to know what the makers have in store for them with the second part. Vikram Kumar directed Dhootha on a huge budget and the show was produced by Sharath Marrar on his banner.

Dhootha 2 will also feature the core cast but new actors will join the team as per the news. The word is that Dhootha 2 will have some popular Hindi actors who will be seen in important roles in this series. The success of the first season has given new ideas to director Vikram Kumar who is now ready for the script of the sequel as per the news. 

Amazon Prime is also quite happy with the way Dhootha fared on OTT and they are going all out for the second season. Sharath Marrar is going to spend big bucks on the second season as per the news. Reacting to the 'price list', an Instagram user wrote, "Very expensive! I cannot afford it..." Another wrote, "Just the brand name if it didn't have Shah Rukh attached, all of these clothes would sell for under ₹1000." Another also said, "Why are these clothes so expensive? (Crying emoji)." One also wrote, "Sir, I have to take a bank loan to buy your clothes... Can you please give some discount?"

However, some fans defended the pricing. One wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan has entertained us for years. We will pay extra money to buy these clothes." A fan also praised Suhana and Shah Rukh's photo, writing, "The daughter has taken after her father and how." Another said, "Elegance personified."

Last year in May, Shah Rukh Khan, for the first time, reacted to the pricing of his son Aryan Khan's clothing brand, D'YAVOL X. After the launch of the brand, people exclaimed the prices for the brand were 'ridiculously expensive'. A fan wrote to Shah Rukh, “Ye dyavol x ke jacket thoda sa 1000- 2000 wale bhi bana do… Wo wale khareedne me to ghar chala jayega (Can you reduce the price to ₹1000 to 2000. I have to sell off my house in order to afford it).”

Responding to it, Shah Rukh promised to do something about it." He wrote back, “Yeh D’Yavol X wale log mujhe bhi sasti nahi bech rahe….kuch karta hoon! (They are not even selling me with a discount. Let me do something).”
