Paid previews of Maidaan were held on April 8. And today, on April 9, a special screening of the film was held for notable Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn along with Maidaan filmmaker Amit Sharma were among the first few celebrities who arrived at the event being held in the city. Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor followed up later thereby adding charm to the screening event.

Maidaan screening was full of glitz and glamour!

Last night, paid previews of the film took place. Film critics have heaped praises on the film and its creators. And today, notable Bollywood celebrities graced the film’s screening event and heaped praises.

Besides the celebrities mentioned above, Gajraj Rao, who played a supporting role in Maidaan, too, made a dashing entry along with actress Neena Gupta at the event. Gajraj and Neena worked together in the 2022 film Badhaai Ho which was directed by Amit Sharma.

Priyamani, the famous South Indian actress, too graced the event. She played a supporting role in Maidaan. Previously, she featured in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan.

Bigg Boss Season 17 second runner-up Mannara Chopra was also present at the event. She aced her look by wearing designer wear. Her top was white, while her skirt in faded blue colour.

When will Maidaan be released?

On April 8, the makers of Maidaan confirmed that this sports drama would be released theatrically on April 11, coinciding with the occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr. Earlier, it was expected to be out on April 10 but due to reasons best known to the film’s producers, the release date of the movie was pushed forward by a day.

Maidaan is an upcoming biographical sports drama film that features Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, and Gajraj Rao in leading roles. It revolves around the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, a trailblazing football coach in India from 1952 to 1962.
