Celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania dressed Isha Ambani in a custom lehenga set from Torani. Anaita shared Isha's pictures on Instagram. They show Isha dazzling in a tassel-embroidered sleeveless blouse featuring a halter neckline, dori embellishments adorned with colourful tassels, a backless design, and a bust-skimming silhouette.

Isha paired a lehenga skirt with the blouse. Crafted from raw silk, it features colourful panels embroidered in vertical lines, heart embellishments done with colourful sequins and thread work, and a maximum flare. Isha accessorised the ensemble with ornate bracelets, statement earcuffs, and a ring. Lastly, a black bindi, darkened brows, kohl-lined eyes, berry-pink lips, mascara on the lashes, and loose tresses rounded off the glam.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot this weekend. Their wedding week kicked off with a haldi ceremony. It was another star-studded affair, attended by the likes of Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday among others. 

Who all attended?

Salman Khan was seen arriving at the haldi ceremony in an-all black traditional avatar. However, soon his black kurta was replaced by a yellow one to suit the occasion. He even greeted the paparazzi when they called him “Sikandar,” referring to his next action film directed by AR Murugadoss that he's currently filming.

Another highlight was Ranveer Singh, dressed in a yellow kurta and palazzo pyjamas, entering the venue only to be served paan as a welcome gesture. He patiently enjoyed the paan and complimented the waiters. While exiting, he was seen covered in haldi from top to bottom, including his face and long hair. He knocked on the window of his black SUV and waved goodbye to the paparazzi before entering the car and speeding off.

Janhvi Kapoor, who wore a yellow saree and matching blouse, was seen accompanied by her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya's brother Veer Pahariya, who was dressed in a light mauve kurta and half jacket, accessorised by a golden elephant brooch and a black pocket square. Janhvi and Veer were seen tending to her producer-father Boney Kapoor during the function. Boney chose a light yellow kurta-pyjama for the occasion.

Janhvi's contemporaries Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday posed together for the paparazzi. After Ananya posed solo, she asked where Sara is and then the two posed for the photographers together. Sara wore a multicoloured crop top and lehenga with matching jewellery and potli bag. Meanwhile, Ananya chose a light pink gown and matching dupatta with golden border for the occasion. She tied her hair behind the back in a bun with a gajra and completed the look with golden danglers. Among other Bollywood celebrities who participated in the festivities were Manushi Chhillar, Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar, Orhan Awatramani aka Orry, filmmaker Atlee, and veteran actor Tina Ambani, who is Anant's aunt, accompanied by her husband and industrialist Anil Ambani.

About the wedding

The wedding festivities are meticulously planned, adhering to traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main ceremonies will commence on Friday, July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah, or wedding function and according to sources, guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire.

The celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad. The final event, Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, is scheduled for Sunday, July 14.

On July 5, the Ambani family also hosted a Sangeet Ceremony which saw participation by a constellation of celebrities. Global pop sensation Justin Bieber also performed at the sangeet ceremony.

Earlier this year, the couple hosted a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, which saw a star-studded guest list from around the globe.

 YouTuber Praneeth Hanumantu recently reviewed flak from Tollywood celebrities for ‘joking’ and referencing an inappropriate sexual relationship between a father and daughter. After Sai Dharam Tej aka Sai Durgha Tej called him out, an FIR was filed against Praneeth at the Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB). Telangana CM Revanth Reddy also responded to Sai’s post.

After Sai put out a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling Praneeth’s statements ‘gruesome, disgusting and scary’ DGP of Telangana police, Ravi Gupta, replied to the actor, stating that an FIR has been filed on the YouTuber. “Addressing the inappropriate comments on a child, an FIR has been filed with @TGCyberBureau, and strict actions will follow,” wrote the DGP.

DGP Ravi added, “We are committed to protecting all citizens, especially children. Offenders misusing social media for humor will face justice, and our team @TelanganaCOPs is diligently identifying them. Telangana Govt @TelanganaCMO and Police will intensify efforts to raise awareness about #ChildSafety and responsible social media use. #ChildSafetyAwareness #TelanganaPolice.” Sai replied, “Thank you for responding sir…please do the needful.”

CM Revanth also responded to Sai, “Thank you for bringing to our notice this issue @IamSaiDharamTej garu. Child safety is utmost priority for our Govt. Will look into this incident and take appropriate action.”

Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith call out Praneeth

Manchu Manoj also posted on X, tagging the CM of Telangana Revanth, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, officials of Texas and the US Embassy in India to take action on Praneeth.

Manoj wrote, “It’s appalling and intolerable to see individuals like @phanumantwo using social platforms to spread abuse and hate under the guise of humour. This behaviour is not only disgusting but also dangerous. Over a year ago, I reached out to him through Instagram to support women facing atrocities in AP and Telangana because he was gaining attention and had the potential to make a positive impact. Sadly, I received no response. Today, he's making vile comments about infants,” adding, “Child safety and women's protection must be our top priorities. Silence and inaction are not options.”

Nara Rohith also tagged the government officials, urging them to take action against Praneeth, adding, “Freedom of expression is the cornerstone of democracy, but it must come with responsibility. It is disheartening to see the comments made by this group. These unacceptable remarks about a little girl and her relationship with her father are reprehensible. Governments should take stringent action against such audacity. It is high time to impose regulations on digital content.”

Praneeth issues apology

Praneeth shared a video on Instagram, claiming that he did not intend of make light of child sexual abuse or pedophilia, it was his ‘attempt at dark humour’ which had gone wrong. The YouTuber made an inappropriate sexual reference between a father and a daughter while discussing a reel during a live session with other YouTubers.

He also wrote on X, “Rage out on me all you can, but pls leave my family out of this. They don't deserve this. I couldn't be a best son to them, but they are definitely the best parents a child could have gotten.”

So, it is now confirmed that the team is planning to reveal the Game Changer release date and more updates on the film, soon.

As reported earlier, Game Changer has a high chance of hitting the big screens in December 2024. The Ram Charan starrer is expected to get a pan-Indian release in three languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the Shankar film, which stars SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Anjali, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Nassar, and others in the supporting roles. The X user also shared many tweets about how she was lied to repeatedly so that she would pay money.
