Recently, a video of actor Sara Ali Khan surfaced on paparazzi and fan pages, in which an airhostess 'accidentally spilled juice on Sara’s pricey outfit', leading to some in-flight drama. The actor looked at an airhostess and her colleagues as she walked away from her seat, seemingly after the ‘juice mishap’.

Many reacted to the video that was shared by a paparazzo with the caption, “Oops! Sara Ali Khan’s flight got a little too hot to handle. Tell us your thoughts on what's happening here!" The text on the video read, “Sara Ali Khan's juice mishap at 30,000 ft.”

Promotional gimmick?

Not falling for the apparent 'publicity stunt', an Instagram user wrote, “Can you be more nonsense with your posts?” A person also said about the leaked video, "Its from a shoot." Another wrote, "Waah kya acting hai (What acting)." 

Someone commented, "Seems like an ad or movie. Why? Because the air hostess' uniform isn't of any operating carrier!" A comment also read, "Bloody publicity stunt." An Instagram user also commented, “This is an ad for Veet. Look at her all pink outfit.”

The person might be correct. Sara was in Delhi on Wednesday to launch a new product for Veet. At the event, the actor, who is a brand ambassador for Veet, said, "I have always been an integral part of the Veet family and have witnessed how it has always catered to the needs of modern women. Hair removal can be such a task, we don't necessarily have the time to indulge in time-consuming salon appointments every time."

Upcoming work

On the work front, Sara is all set to share screen space for the first time with Ayushmann Khurrana in an upcoming action-comedy. The film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. The untitled film will be directed by Aakash Kaushik.

Sara will also be seen in Metro...In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur. Helmed by Anurag Basu, the anthology film also stars Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sensharma in lead roles. Sara's two films have released in 2024, so far, Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan.

Stree 2 is among the most eagerly awaited movies of 2024. An intriguing trailer was released last week that features Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. Titled Aaj Ki Raat, the upbeat song will keep you grooving with the mesmerising moves of Tamannaah.

Suriya turned 49 on July 23. To mark the occasion, filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj treated fans to a special video from their film, tentatively titled Suriya 44. The new promo gives a glimpse of gangster Suriya as 'The One' as his army of goons follow him. The upcoming action film also features Pooja Hegde.

On Tuesday, Karthik Subbaraj tweeted alongside the promo, "Happy Birthday @Suriya_offl sir. From Team Suriya 44." He added the hashtags 'Happy birthday Suriya and 'HBD The One Suriya'. The clip began with the text 'somewhere in the sea' and was followed by scenes of goons standing on either side of a place called 'Royal Estate'.

It then showed the text, "A love, a laughter, a war... awaits for... The One' as Suriya's silhouette appeared. The one-minute-37-second promo showed Suriya, who had blood smeared on his face, smoking a cigarette and wielding a gun in an outdoor setting with his men around him.

"Blockbuster loading (fire emojis)", tweeted a fan. Another said, sharing a screenshot of Suriya from the clip, "This one frame >> Vijay, Ajith's whole career. RT if you agree." A fan also wrote, "Wow, biggest Kollywood blockbuster. Can't wait for this film." Many others wished Suriya on his birthday and dropped fire emojis.

The makers of the film, 2D Entertainment, also tweeted the new promo and wrote, “An unveiling maverick, ready to conquer. Join the frenzy for Love Laughter War and beyond! Happy Birthday THE ONE... wishes from team Suriya 44.”

In June, the makers of Suriya 44 had released a video to announce the start of filming, sharing a glimpse of Suriya's retro look. In the film, Suriya plays a gangster and Pooja Hegde stars opposite him, while Jayaram, Karunakaran, and Joju George will be seen in key roles. Earlier in July, after shooting for almost a month in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pooja had shared a post as she wrapped up the first schedule of Suriya 44.

Kanguva first single: suriya shows off his ferocious side in the fire song

In the upcoming Siva directorial, the Soorarai Pottru star will play two roles: that of the title character Kanguva and that of a modern man. In Kanguva, Bollywood actor Bobby Deol makes his Tamil debut as the main antagonist, and Disha Patani plays the female lead. Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Deepa Venkat, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, and others have supporting roles.
