Falguni Shane Peacock presented their new collection, Rang Mahal, during the closing show at India Couture Week. The brand-new line - featuring luxurious silks, rich velvets, and intricate embroideries - draws inspiration from the regal and dreamy aspects of India's royal heritage. It also celebrates India's cultural diversity through symbols like parrots, peacocks, and palaces, according to the official page of FDCI.

What did Vicky and Rashmika wear as showstoppers?

Falguni Shane Peacock dressed Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in regal ethnic outfits as they walked the ramp as their showstoppers. While Vicky wore a cream embroidered sherwani, Rashmika dazzled in a stunning ivory lehenga set.

Vicky's cream sherwani jacket features intricate chikankari embroidery, shimmering sequin embellishments, slit bandhgala collar, front button closures, full-length sleeves, padded shoulders, and a tailored fitting. The actor wore it over a matching short kurta and straight-fit silk pants. He completed the showstopper look with a trimmed beard, backswept hairdo, and embellished cream loafers.

Meanwhile, Rashmika's dazzling ivory lehenga set features an embellished bralette featuring draped bejewelled sleeves, a tassel-adorned short hem, and a plunging neckline. An embellished dupatta attached to the shoulder formed a long train on the back. Meanwhile, the sequin-adorned lehenga decked with intricate embroidery and beautified with a heavy ghera completed the look.

Rashmika styled the ensemble with a mang tika, a matching hath phool, centre-parted loose tresses, winged eyeliner, shimmering eye shadow, darkened brows, mascara-adorned lashes, rouge-tinted cheeks, blush pink lips, and beaming highlighter.

After Nagarjuna and Dhanush, a video of Chiranjeevi at the airport is being scrutinised. The actor received flak for pushing a fan trying to click a selfie with him, out of the way. While his fans have come out in full force to defend him, the internet isn’t having it.

In a video shared numerous times, Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha are accompanied by ground personnel and step out of a lift at the airport. Soon, a man working for IndiGo Airlines approaches Chiranjeevi for a selfie and is ignored. When he still pursues the actor and stands in his way, he nudges him aside and leaves.

The internet was miffed to see Chiranjeevi not stopping for a selfie, while others believed no one was entitled to it. “Chiranjeevi Rude Behaviour with Fans Airport,” wrote one fan sharing the video, while another justified, “The ground staff accompanying him asked the man to step aside. Isn’t it wrong of him to approach a man who just took a long flight and is accompanied by his family? There’s something called civic sense, because Chiranjeevi is a good person, he just nudged him.”

One person wrote, “Mana abhimana hero em chesina venakesukoste ela mastaru. (Just because we like him we can’t justify it)” Another commented, “Vallu emi mana laga economy class lo raru. Business or first class lo vastharu with all amenities like home feeling or else charted flights lo vastharu inka luxury ga. (It’s not like he travelled in economy like us, he came in business or first class or a chartered flight).”

Similar incidents

This is not the first time celebrities have received flak for ignoring or, worse, pushing fans out of the way at the airport. Recently, a video of Nagarjuna’s bodyguard pushing a specially abled fan out of the way went viral, and people called out the actor.

He apologised, claiming he didn’t see what happened at the airport. Later, he met the fan and gave him a selfie. He also admitted that it was his fault what had happened.

Dhanush was also at the airport with Nagarjuna, and people demanded an explanation from him too, though one never came. They claimed that he ‘saw everything’ and asked him to react to the matter.

Fans of Kiara Advani received a surprise from the makers of her next release, Telugu film Game Changer, on her birthday. On Wednesday, the official X (previously Twitter) account of Sri Venkateswara Creations shared a brand new poster featuring the birthday girl.

The colourful poster featured Kiara, which seemed like the same outfit which she had worn in the song Jagrandi. The song was released a few months ago, and was picturised on Kiara and Ram Charan grooving to the foot-tapping number in a rural setup with many dancers.

The upcoming film has already built excitement as Ram Charan reportedly plays the role of an IAS Officer, who rises to become chief minister. It has been produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Directed by Shankar, the action-packed thriller will release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

The film was originally slated for a Dussehra release. But earlier this month the producer confirmed that the film was delayed during a recent event in Hyderabad. When fans wanted to know the updates for the film, Raju teased, “Game Changer? Let’s meet during Christmas”.

The political thriller film has been shot in several locations including Hyderabad, Chennai and Vizag. When Ram and Kiara shot for the film in Vizag, pictures and videos of their look leaked online.
