Ashok Dubey from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees mentioned that the incident happened due to the vibrations from the sound system. He explained, “We were filming a song at the Imperial Palace in Royal Palms when the ceiling gave way, injuring Arjun Kapoor, Jackky Bhagnani, and Mudassar Aziz. The location has been around for a while, and the vibrations from the sound caused the structure to shake, leading to the collapse.”

However, akin to the film's assertion that "Indira is India, and India is Indira," the film Emergency can only be appreciated through Kangana's performance, which significantly alters one's perception as the narrative unfolds.
