During the event, Kartik expressed his enthusiasm by stating, "I am truly delighted to be part of the 25th anniversary of IIFA. I will be hosting the event, and I aspire to achieve the second-best hosting, as no one can surpass him (gesturing towards Shah Rukh). Whenever Shah Rukh Khan sir has taken the stage to host or perform, he has consistently excelled. His presence creates an electrifying atmosphere akin to that of a stadium. Therefore, I am simply thrilled to be involved in this entire celebration..." he concluded.

Kartik expressed his excitement, as conveyed by news agency ANI, stating, "It is a great honour to celebrate the worldwide success of Indian cinema in the lively city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, as I take on the role of host for IIFA's momentous 25th-anniversary celebration this March. I have been looking forward to making my debut as the host of the largest celebration of Indian cinema, and this event serves as an ideal start to 2025. The significant milestone of IIFA in the Pink City is set to offer an extraordinary experience for fans around the world."
