Rashmika Mandanna's role in Family Star
Now, we have come to know that Rashmika is indeed a part of the film, and she will be seen in a small cameo. We have now come to know from our sources that Rashmika will make her entry into the film in the US portions of Family Star. A chunk of the story happens in the US, and the news is that Rashmika's cameo has been shot there to keep a secret.
Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda featured in Parasuram's Geetha Govindam, which was a massive hit at the box office. Now, as Vijay has teamed up with Parasuram yet again for Family Star, the makers wanted Rashmika to also be a part of the film for nostalgic reasons.
There is also a rumor that Rashmika will make her entry during the film's end credits. Whatever the reason, this news of Rashmika's involvement in Family Star has become a hot topic of discussion. Also, as Vijay and Rashmika are apparently seeing each other, this cameo is mostly being discussed.
Family Star OTT rights details
Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead in this film and she says that her character of Indu will be loved by one and all. Vijay and Mrunal's chemistry looks adorable in this film, and we need to see how Parasuram showcases Rashmika in Family Star. Rashmika, last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, will soon be seen in Rainbow, The Girlfriend in Telugu and Chaava in Hindi, apart from reprising her role of Srivalli for Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rule.
Netflix has grabbed the OTT rights of Netflix for Rs 16 crore and is likely to stream the film in the second week of May 2024. On the other hand, Family Star is also having a wide release in the US on April 4, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.
