Keerthy Suresh entered into matrimony with her long-time partner, Antony Thattil, in December 2024, following a 15-year courtship. The actress, who maintained a low profile regarding her relationship with the businessman until their wedding, disclosed the details of their dating history to Galatta India.
‘We had nightmares of eloping’
Keerthy Suresh disclosed that this New Year marks 15 years since Antony initially proposed to her. She recounted how she took the first step in their courtship, stating, “We go back to the days of Orkut; I was the one who made the first move. We engaged in conversation for about a month before we finally met at a restaurant. I was with my family at the time and couldn’t meet him directly, so I simply winked at him and left. Later, I challenged him, saying, if you have the courage, propose to me. He first proposed in 2010, and our relationship became serious in 2016. He gave me a promise ring that I wore until our marriage, and you can even see it in all my films.”
