Saif Ali Khan Returns Home After Hospitalization, Kareena by His Side
Actor Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed last week and subsequently underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital, was discharged on Tuesday afternoon, as confirmed by sources close to the actor to HT. He was accompanied by his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, as they returned to their residence in Bandra.
The actor spent five days in the hospital following an emergency procedure. Medical professionals have stated that he is no longer in danger and is on the path to recovery.
The attack on Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan, aged 54, was attacked multiple times by an intruder on Thursday morning at his home in Bandra, where he resides with his wife, Kareena Kapoor, and their two children. He arrived at Lilavati Hospital at 3 a.m. on Thursday and was admitted for treatment. Following a five-hour surgery that day, he was later moved to the ICU, where a fragment of the knife was removed from his body.
The actor sustained six injuries during the attack, including two significant cuts. Upon his arrival at the hospital, doctors noted that he was leaking spinal fluid. Fortunately, he avoided any life-threatening injuries, and his recovery is progressing well, according to medical staff.
