Today marks a momentous occasion as Crew-9 astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore make their long-awaited return to Earth after a remarkable nine-month mission. They successfully landed on the Gulf Coast of Florida following a 17-hour journey from space, arriving at 3:30 am Indian time. Their mission to the International Space Station, originally scheduled for eight days, was extended to an impressive nine months. Upon their return, notable figures including actors R Madhavan and Jackie Shroff joined in celebrating this significant homecoming.

R Madhavan took to his Instagram account and re-shared the video wherein Sunita Williams can be seen waving to the camera upon her return to Earth.
"Welcome back to Earth our dear Sunita Williams. Our prayers have been answered. So wonderful to see you safe and smiling. After more than 260 uncertain days in space this all Gods grace and millions of praying souls being answered. Great job all the #spacefalcon9 #nasa and the entire crew. God bless you," he wrote.
