Retro An upcoming Tamil film features Suriya, known for his role in Ayan, as the lead actor. This project represents his inaugural partnership with director Karthik Subbaraj, who gained recognition with his debut horror heist film, Pizza. In anticipation of its release on May 1, the team has unveiled the trailer for Retro. Notably, Karthik Subbaraj has enlisted the help of his longtime friend and filmmaker Alphonse Puthren to handle the film's editing. Their friendship dates back to their participation in the short film competition Naalaya Iyakkunar.
