In light of rising military tensions between India and Pakistan, India's cricketing legend Virat Kohli sent a strong message of support for the Indian Armed Forces. The ongoing conflict has led to missile strikes, air raid alerts, and increased military activities across the Line of Control, as well as in various bordering Indian cities, creating widespread security fears, which also affected the IPL 2025, as the tournament was halted on Friday.
On Instagram, Kohli stated, “We stand in solidarity with, and salute our armed forces for fiercely protecting our country in these difficult times.
