Single Review: Sree Vishnu Blends Life and Laughter Effortlessly
Single Story
Single tells the story of Vijay (Sree Vishnu), an insurance agent who has surpassed the conventional marriage age. He develops feelings for Purva (Ketika Sharma), but she does not return his affections. The plot takes a turn when a young girl named Harini (Ivana) proposes to Vijay, only to be turned down by him. The narrative then unravels to show who Vijay ultimately selects.
Single Review
Single is crafted and directed by Caarthick Raju, who is known for his work on Chaavu Kaburu Challaga. He has chosen a highly relatable theme, which illustrates the challenges faced by singles in contemporary society, and has written it as an entertaining comedy. He relies heavily on humor and succeeds well in that aspect. However, when it comes to the emotional storyline, the film is lacking and does not have impactful scenes that validate the central theme.
Single is specifically aimed at a youthful audience and serves them well. The humor works effectively, and Sree Vishnu’s comedic timing is exceptional. His interactions with Vennela Kishore, known from Sathi Gani Rendu Yekaralu, are rich with references to pop culture. The manner in which Sree Vishnu reacts to various scenarios is well-executed within the film's context.
