Even though Kohli later 'unliked' the image, it became a subject of conversation on social media. Eventually, the cricketer took to Instagram Stories and provided a clarification intended to settle the issue. Without mentioning the actress or the post, he stated: “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it seems the algorithm may have inadvertently logged an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I ask that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding. ”
