Hari Hara Veera Mallu Team Revamps Bobby Deol’s Aurangzeb Role After Animal’s Success
After a lengthy delay, Telugu actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has at last confirmed the release date of his highly anticipated Telugu film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The period drama, which stars Bollywood star Bobby Deol in a crucial role, is scheduled to be released on July 24, 2025. Aurangzeb, the primary antagonist of the massive action movie, is portrayed by the actor from Animal.
Krish Jagarlamudi was the first director of Hari Hara Veera Mallu. However, Jyothi Krishna, the son of producer AM Rathnam, took over the direction of the remaining parts of the film as Krish withdrew due to the continued delays. Jyoti immediately discarded Bobby Deol's role upon taking over the project.
After witnessing Bobby Deol's amazing performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, his role was rewritten and significantly expanded upon, according to a source close to the unit. The producers redesigned and re-shot Bobby's Aurangzeb role, including his appearance, scenes with Pawan Kalyan, and action sequences, according to the director, who claims that the character now has a backstory.
Jyothi, the film's director, adds that Bobby "killed it" and was thrilled to film his new scenes. With Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaaj, which was also a smash at the box office, the Bollywood celebrity made his Telugu debut.
