Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par Sees Strong Growth on Day 2, Covers 33% of Budget
On day 2—the first day of the weekend, Saturday—Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par made twice as much as it had on its opening day. The movie is already on the path to success, having recouped one-third of its cost with it.

Sacnilk reports that Aamir Khan's return to Bollywood has earned about Rs. 21.50 crore on day two, which is the first Saturday after the film's release. Because the film's occupancy increased considerably from the afternoon screenings (with the highest occupancy of 56.71% for the night showings), it was able to generate twice as much revenue from the Day 1 Box Office.
The overall net box office revenue of Sitaare Zameen Par to date is 1/3 of the budget
So far, Sitaare Zameen Par has made more than Rs. 30 crores. The film has earned Rs. 32.21 crores. This indicates that the movie has so far made 1/3 of its Rs. 90 crore budget back.
