His performance in the groundbreaking film Kaathal – The Core earned him a nomination for the prize in 2023 as well.

In contrast, Asif Ali has not yet been awarded a Kerala State Film Award. He starred in fantastic films in 2024, including Thalavan and Kishkindha Kaandam. In addition, he was observed in Level Cross. He came close to winning the prize in 2019 for his role in the movie Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha, despite never having won it before. Asif's talent is expected to be acknowledged by supporters at last.
