R Madhavan Commends Priyanka Chopra: “Many Indian Heroes Wish They Were in Her Shoes”
R Madhavan recently praised Priyanka Chopra for her latest international film, Heads of State. He called her achievement a proud moment for both her and India. In an interview, Madhavan spoke highly of Priyanka’s powerful acting and how she’s proudly representing Indian talent on the world stage.
“I am very proud of Priyanka,” Madhavan said
He talked about her success in the action-comedy Heads of State, which premiered on Prime Video. Madhavan told Siddharth Kannan, “She went there and took the lead in a big Hollywood project with ease. She even did action scenes, and I think many actors in India would love to be in her place, in a movie like that.”
The film stars Priyanka alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, mixing quick action with fun adventure. It’s gotten a lot of attention, not just because of the cast but also because Priyanka’s standout scenes, especially her intense fight sequences.
Madhavan praised Priyanka’s career. “I really admire how she carries herself. I’m very proud of her,” he said.
Madhavan and Priyanka are both busy with new projects. Madhavan is in a Netflix series called Aap Jaisa Koi, which came out on July 11. He plays a complicated professor fighting to open his heart to love, despite his old-fashioned views.
