Dulquer Salmaan’s heartfelt birthday note for wife Amaal Sufiya: ‘Thank you for always being you’

Dulquer Salmaan is widely appreciated for his spectacular performance in his latest releases – Raj and DK’s gangster drama series Guns & Gulaabs and Malayalam action thriller film King of Kotha. The actor is also known to be a family man. He married interior designer Amal Sufiya in 2011, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Maryam Ameerah Salmaan, in 2017. To celebrate Amal’s birthday, Dulquer recently shared adorable pictures with her on his social media page along with a heartfelt message.

Taking to Instagram, Dulquer shared two lovely pictures with Amal, where the couple is decked up in stylish clothes. He captioned the post, ““Ammmmm !!” “Mammaaaaa !!!” The two most common sounds in our house. No matter how exhausted you are or how long your day has been, you always find the energy for us. We’ve now celebrated you a dozen times. I see you growing each day but never changing who you are. You play so many roles in life effortlessly. Your quiet strength and your innate ability to nurture are what brings so many people into our lives. Thank you for always being you. Wishing you the happiest birthday Am! I love you longtime!”

In the first picture, Dulquer and Amal are spotted at the seaside, posing for the camera with big smiles. The couple is twinning in white clothes, where Dulquer is wearing a black-and-white shirt with white shorts and black shades and Amal looks stunning in a white maxi dress. In the second picture, the actor is giving retro vibes in a multi-coloured shirt, flared white pants and beige shoes, while Amal donned a black maxi dress with dewy makeup.

Commenting on the birthday message, his fans said, “Couple goals”, while another user said, “How adorable”. One user commented, “Made for each other. Your love, truly inspiring for others”.

On the work front, Dulquer’s Malayalam film King of Kotha garnered a lot of attention from the audience. The Abhilash Joshiy film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ritika Singh and Nyla Usha in lead roles. Dulquer made his Hindi film debut with Akash Khurana’s 2018 film Karwaan. He later featured in Abhishek Sharma’s the The Zoya Factor, opposite Sonam Kapoor, in R Balki’s Chup: Revenge of the Artist and Raj and DK’s Guns & Gulaabs.

The team of Fukrey 3 has announced that the upcoming film's trailer will release on Tuesday. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the film's team also unveiled new posters of the characters.

In the first poster, Varun Sharma's character was dressed in a peacock costume. Pulkit Samrat was seen hanging from a log with a surprised expression on his face. Pankaj Tripathi sat crossed leg in the next poster while Manjot Singh made a face. In the last poster, Richa Chadha smiled and flashed the victory sign. She held a cutout of her poster in which she folded her hands.

Fans miss Ali Fazal

The post was shared with the caption, "Meet the characters now, not later, before picture comes the trailer. #Fukrey3 trailer out tomorrow." Reacting to the post, actor Kriti Kharbanda wrote, "@pulkitsamrat hi hunny! How so hawt!" Many of the fans missed Ali Fazal. A person wrote, "Where is Zafar Bhai??" The third instalment of the comedy-drama will release in theatres on September 28. Fukrey 3 is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Since 2013, Fukrey has captured the hearts of audiences as one of Hindi cinema's most beloved desi comedy franchises. Fukrey 3 was earlier slated to release on December 1. It was originally scheduled to be released on September 7 on the occasion of Janmashtami but was pushed to December 1.

Going by the reports of advance booking, Jawan is expected to perform exceptionally well at the box office. As per Sacnilk.com, so far 4 lakh tickets have been sold. It has earned over ₹12.17 crore (gross) in Hindi (2D) and 11.3k tickets worth over ₹78.58 lakh in Hindi (IMAX).

Talking about the advance booking sale, someone also asked Shah Rukh if the numbers were real. Nani scored a massive hit with Dasara as it was the first Rs 100 crore film in Nani's career. High on the success of Dasara, Nani is now doing a film named Hi Nanaa which is being directed by Shouryav. A few days back, news came out that the makers of this film have approached A R Rahman to compose music for this film. Well, the gossip from the film circles is that Rahman has stunned the makers by asking a whopping Rs 11 crores to compose music for the same. 

The makers were shocked to hear the quote and are in two minds to rope in the Oscar winner for the film which is touted to be a romantic drama. The news is also that Nani and Vivek Athreya are very keen to have Rahman as the film's subject has the span and scope for a good music score. We need to see what the makers will do in this regard.

Mark Antony: Karthi and Rana Daggubati come together to do THIS for Vishal

 

The much-awaited trailer of Vishal's upcoming film, Mark Antony is all set to be out this evening. The trailer is all set to be released at 6.30pm during the launch event at Chennai. The film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is all set to hit screens on September 15.

Karthi and Rana Daggubati join forces
Vishal has now announced that Karthi and Rana Daggubati are all set to come together to launch the trailer of the Tamil and Telugu version respectively.  Taking to his social media handle, Vishal announced, "Due to technical issues, the release of #MarkAntonyTrailer will happen today @ 6:30 PM during the launch event in Chennai. SJ Suryah and Vishal collaboration
This is the first time that SJ Suryah and Vishal are getting together for the film. Mark Antony is said to be based on the concept of time travel and this time around, it happens over telephone, going by the film's teaser. Going by the film's teaser, SJ Suryah and Vishal's character travel back and forth in time to take revenge on their nemesis. Their retro looks had already set the internet on fire.

The film features Ritu Varma as the leading lady, Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Abhinaya, Kingsley and YG Mahendran. Mark Antony will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Zee5 has acquired the film's digital rights and Zee Tamil has bagged satellite rights.

Salaar release date: Prabhas' much-awaited next to debut in theatres on this new date?

The news of Salaar's postponement has surely come as a huge shocker to movie buffs across India. The stage seemed perfectly set for the film to arrive in cinemas on September 28 with the trailer expected to drop in the first week of the same month. However, owing to certain constraints that are yet to be disclosed by Prashanth Neel & Co. it emerged only a couple of days ago that the makers are no longer in the position to release the film as planned. 

Of course, many would know that this is the second deferral on the release date as back in 2021, the team announced that the film would release on April 14, 2022. That particular slot would then be taken up by KGF 2, which went on to be a monumental success for not just Yash but also Hombale Films and writer-director Prashanth Neel. 

At the time, the makers hadn't billed Salaar as a two-part film and the same speculations began to surface only much later, until the recently-released teaser confirmed the same. The first part of the Prabhas starrer is titled 'Ceasefire' and was scheduled to release on September 28 with the second part expected to go on floors sometime in early 2024.

So, what's the latest Salaar release date? According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who broke the news recently, the team is now aiming for a November 2023 release but the exact date isn't finalized yet. Hombale Films, who still haven't made a formal announcement about the postponement, have remained mum thus far but the latest reports, in this vein, suggest that the last Friday of November could be the new chosen date. 

A popular Telugu media outlet writes that Hombale Films could bring the film out in theatres on November 24. Again, neither the production house, Prashanth Neel nor Prabhas have spoken about this change in plans yet. 

Salaar also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Pramod Panju, Easwari Rao and several others. Prashanth Neel's regular collaborators - cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, music composer Ravi Basrur and art director Shivakumar - return to handle their respective duties.
