Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star is set to hit the screens on April 5, 2024, and there is a solid buzz for this film, which Parasuram Petla directed on a budget of Rs 50 crore. Dil Raju is the producer, and when he was asked about Rashmika Mandanna's special role in the film, he dodged the question cleverly.

We have now come to know from our sources that Rashmika will make her entry into the film in the US portions of Family Star. A chunk of the story happens in the US, and the news is that Rashmika's cameo has been shot there to keep a secret.

Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda featured in Parasuram's Geetha Govindam, which was a massive hit at the box office. Now, as Vijay has teamed up with Parasuram yet again for Family Star, the makers wanted Rashmika to also be a part of the film for nostalgic reasons.

There is also a rumor that Rashmika will make her entry during the film's end credits. Whatever the reason, this news of Rashmika's involvement in Family Star has become a hot topic of discussion. Also, as Vijay and Rashmika are apparently seeing each other, this cameo is mostly being discussed.

Family Star OTT rights details

Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead in this film and she says that her character of Indu will be loved by one and all. Vijay and Mrunal's chemistry looks adorable in this film, and we need to see how Parasuram showcases Rashmika in Family Star. Rashmika, last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, will soon be seen in Rainbow, The Girlfriend in Telugu and Chaava in Hindi, apart from reprising her role of Srivalli for Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rule.

Netflix has grabbed the OTT rights of Netflix for Rs 16 crore and is likely to stream the film in the second week of May 2024. On the other hand, Family Star is also having a wide release in the US on April 4, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.

In a clip shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram, Taapsee and Mathias are seen on stage dancing to Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. The video is from their sangeet ceremony. The brief clip ended with the duo hugging each other and then bowing to the guests present at the event.

In another video, Taapsee was joined by her sister Shagun Pannu. The sisters danced to the song Le Gayi from the 1997 film Dil To Pagal Hai. For the event, Taapsee wore a white top and pants. Mathias was seen in a pink suit and trousers. For the sangeet, Shagun wore a green lehenga.

Earlier, a video emerged on Reddit showing Taapsee's bridal entry as well as her varmala ceremony. For the ceremony, Taapsee wore a red suit and heavy jewellery. Mathias was dressed in a sherwani and pagdi. Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh's iconic song Kothe Te Aa Mahiya played as the actor walked down the aisle. The couple danced, hugged and kissed after the varmala ceremony.

According to News18, Taapsee married Mathias on March 23 in Udaipur. It was an "extremely intimate affair, and the pre-wedding festivities began on March 20. Recently, film producer Kanika Dhillon and actor Pavail Gulati's photos, seemingly from Taapsee and Mathias's wedding also grabbed the attention of fans.

As per the report, a source said, “Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati joined the guests at her and Mathais’ wedding. Anurag Kashyap, who shares a rather close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh also flew to Udaipur."

Mrunal had worked as the lead in the Hindi remake of Jersey which was also produced by Dil Raju.  Kajol was among the first to wish Ajay Devgn on his 55th birthday on Tuesday. She took to Twitter and Instagram to share a cute birthday wish for him and even revealed a side to him that many may not be familiar with.
