Amazon Prime Video has announced the cancellation of the international spinoffs of Citadel, titled Honey Bunny and Diana, as separate series. Instead, these stories will be integrated into the second season of the original Citadel series, which is set to debut globally in the second quarter of 2026.

Vernon Sanders, the head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, remarked, “Although these popular international installments will not proceed as standalone series, we anticipate that Season 2 of ‘Citadel’ will be our most thrilling installment to date.”

He further added, “With high-stakes storytelling, new additions to our amazing cast and bold, cinematic ambition, the new season will deepen the emotional journeys of Nadia, Mason and Orlick against the relentless force that is Manticore. We’re excited to share what’s next when ‘Citadel’ Season 2 premieres globally in Q2 of 2026.”

 The sequel opens with Radha (Hebah Patel) being imprisoned for the murder of her husband, Tirupathi. Exhausted by his relentless cruelty, the villagers deny him a proper burial and instead inter him in a brutal manner. Unfortunately for them, Tirupathi's spirit escapes and begins to exact revenge on the villagers, one by one. In desperation, the villagers enlist the help of a Naga Sadhu, portrayed by Tamannaah Bhatia, who possesses extraordinary powers. The central question of the narrative is whether she can subdue the malevolent spirit and rescue the villagers, which unfolds throughout the remainder of the story.

Odela Railway Station is a village drama that bypassed a theatrical release and debuted on Aha in 2022. With a few thrilling moments, the film turned out to be a decent watch. Directed by Ashok Teja, the story was crafted by the well-known director Sampath Nandi. The same creative team returns for the sequel, which introduces mythological and supernatural elements to the narrative.
