The teaser for The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt, has finally arrived, and it’s a big disappointment. The film was supposed to be a supernatural horror thriller with a funny twist, but Sanjay Dutt’s villain feels more like a joke. Instead of being scary, he comes off as a cheesy mix of Hollywood-style bad guys, all clichés and no originality.

One confusing scene shows Sanjay playing the piano, a move rarely pulled off well in Indian movies. It looks more like a cheap ripoff of Davey Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean, slapped with a low-budget Indian look. It’s silly and does nothing to make you feel scared or interested.

Another look features flashy jewelry and wild costumes that bring to mind King Xerxes from 300, but much less impressive. The costume design seems lazy, with no real creativity or style. The visual effects only make things worse, looking old and poorly done. Audiences expect better visuals now, especially after Prabhas’s last film, Kalki 2898 AD, wowed everyone with its stunning effects.
