Triptii Dimri's exit from Aashiqui 3: Did she leave voluntarily, or did producers seek someone with a more 'innocent, pure look'?
Triptii Dimri was set to team up again with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-star Kartik Aaryan for Aashiqui 3. They announced it last year, and it was said that they even filmed a muhurat shot together. But then, out of the blue on Tuesday, it was revealed that Triptii is no longer involved in the film. The reasons behind this change are unclear, with both sides giving different stories.

On Tuesday, Mid-Day shared that Triptii won’t be starring in Aashiqui 3 anymore. A source mentioned, “Triptii was really looking forward to leading the romance, but that’s off the table now. Aashiqui 3 is caught up in a [title]-related issue, so it’s been put on hold indefinitely.” The report suggested that Triptii chose to step away from the project because of the shooting delays.
