They let everyone know that a Reloaded Version of the film would hit theaters on January 11, complete with an extra 20 minutes of footage. However, it seems fans will need to hold off a bit longer to see those additional scenes in cinemas. Recently, the creators issued an updated announcement with a new release date.

Pushpa 2 hit theaters on December 5, 2024, and it’s been smashing box office records ever since. The film has raked in a whopping Rs 1800 crore worldwide, getting close to Aamir Khan's Dangal. With an extra 20 minutes added to this blockbuster, it’s bound to see a nice boost at the box office. On January 8, Mythri Movie Makers announced on social media that the release would be delayed, citing 'technical delays' as the reason.
Their post stated, "Due to technical delays in processing the content, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2 The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theaters from January 17th instead of January 11th as originally planned. Happy Sankranthi, everyone! The extended version will be worth the wait with more moments that will have you cheering. The wildfire just got even hotter." They also shared the news on X, saying, "#Pushpa2Reloaded in cinemas from January 17th."
